Do NOT Buy Mongolian Fur Pillow Before You READ THIS!!
Sizing: If you are only buying the cover, make sure to measure your inner-pillow dimensions. Because lambskin and wool are fluffy, your pillow may actually look bigger than it actually is, but the sizing should fit. Based on the sizing, prices, materials, and availability might vary.
Material: There can be a mix of different materials from cotton to wool, imitation wool, etc. If you are looking for 100% real and authentic Mongolian lamb wool, make sure to read the description.
Comfort: Certain fabrics and materials can feel differently on the skin. If you like softer materials, go with 100% sheepskin wool/fur for the most comfort. If you prefer cotton and polyester, go with faux fur. If you have dust or sheep wool allergies, it’s better to go with higher cotton blend.
Washing: Mongolian sheepskin wool is very sensitive, so be careful of washing them in hot temperatures with strong detergents. Always use low temperature with low tumble dry. Spot cleaning is recommended for best result. Faux fur is less sensitive, but wash with cold or mild temperatures.
Mongolian Faux Fur Pillows
As the name suggests, the materials are imitation of real lambskin wool. Faux fur pillows tend to be cheaper with other blend of materials such as cotton and polyester. The quality and feel are quite different compared to authentic Mongolian sheepskin and fur, but they look pretty much the same. Perhaps not as fluffy and puffy as the real ones, but you can’t go wrong with these.
Mongolian Lambskin Wool Pillows
If you want to go with authentic materials, then choose these brands. There is a big difference in quality. While the faux fur pillow covers are mainly made out of polyester and cotton, Rose Feather and SPLR brands offer authentic sheep wool. It will feel so much more comfortable and keep you warm significantly better.
